A disappointing escape from paradise

The stunning view from the balcony took my breath away, making it hard to forget the challenges inside the hotel.

Unfortunately, the maze-like hallways led me to a dirty room with moldy showers and an unwelcoming staff.

The view from our room was breathtaking, but the

rest of the experience didn’t quite match up. The location was ideal for exploring Positano, yet the steep walk back up was tiring. Cleanliness issues and slow service at the restaurant detracted from our stay.

Would recommend for a weekend pause.

the royal hotel has an excellent location at the top, offering breathtaking views. it’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but you get to explore charming alleyways along the way. the complimentary wifi was a nice touch, too.

We enjoyed our family stay at this hotel, especially the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. The pool area was perfect for lounging while my granddaughter played. It’s located conveniently close to local attractions, making it an ideal choice for families.

For dads, it would be great if the rooms were updated.

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend trip in Positano with the best value for money ratio. The only good thing at breakfast was the really freshly pressed orange juice. If you want to use the pool, remember to bring a bathing cap!

great stay but lacking sea view

The staff members were extremely friendly and attentive, always willing to help. The bed was comfortable, which made for pleasant nights. Having good coffee every morning was a nice touch that started my day off right. The spacious room provided a lovely hill view, creating a cozy atmosphere, even if it wasn’t a direct sea view.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its free wi-fi, cozy bar/lounge area, and friendly 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff helped me find a lost item, making it unforgettable. I highly recommend visiting the seasonal outdoor pool for relaxation!

Our stay was memorable thanks to the stunning views over Positano and the accommodating staff who were always eager to assist. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a variety of options paired with that gorgeous view. While the room could use some updating and the stairs are quite a challenge, we enjoyed the adventure of exploring the charming alleyways on the way down to the beach.
